A Nebraska native and former Marine, Greg brings to MAYA a disciplined approach and over 10 years experience solving complex problems with elegant visual solutions.
Prior to joining MAYA, he worked as an associate creative director at The Bank of New York Mellon, where he managed a team of designers focused on corporate design and branding. He was instrumental in developing and launching the brand and visual-identity system for the new company, which was formed from the 2007 merger between Mellon and The Bank of New York.
At Mellon, he was part of the team responsible for repositioning the company from a regional bank to a global financial services company.
Greg holds a Masters degree in communication from Duquesne University and a Bachelor of Science degree in graphic design from La Roche College. He is president of the Pittsburgh Chapter of AIGA, the professional association for design. He spends his free time ensuring AIGA is the place design professionals turn to first to exchange ideas and information, participate in critical analysis and research, and advance education and ethical practice.
