Lisa’s expertise in interaction design extends beyond user interfaces to an understanding of the interplay between business culture and innovation, helping clients to harness technology and move in new directions without derailing what’s already working well.

Lisa has worked with companies far and wide, from start-ups to mega corps, designing and developing tools that make it easier for businesses to manage complex processes.

A degree in communications and a stint in advertising and PR proved to be the springboard to a life-long fascination with how humans interact with the world around them. Subsequent years in marketing and product design brought her through the dot-com boom and beyond, honing her skills in user-centered design through extensive real world experience. Master’s work at CMU’s Human-Computer Interaction Institute rounded out her toolkit.

Prior to joining MAYA, she applied her expertise to refine the IT Project Office of a $6 billion retail chain, where she established Governance and Project Portfolio Management processes that continue to support the company’s strategic planning efforts.
