Luiz is a a senior software engineer and technology manager with over 15 years of experience in architecting, designing, implementing, and deploying hardware and software solutions to a variety of markets.
Luiz worked 10 years at our spin-off MAYA Viz, which became part of GD (General Dynamics) C4Systems in 2005. At Viz and GD, Luiz focused on helping “seedling” projects reach their maturity. He architected parts of the CoMotion platform, and he also managed the development of several solutions on that platform for both commercial and government contracts.
Luiz delivers elegant solutions to MAYA’s clients by applying solid engineering practices.
In academia, Luiz did research in scientific computing applied to civil engineering, specializing in hydraulic networks.
Luiz holds a B.Sc. in civil engineering and an M.Sc. in hydraulic engineering from the State University of Campinas in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in project management from the George Washington University.
